This was kindof a trainwreck that I managed to pull together a little somehow, and now I have no judgement if it looks like shit or not. First it was a sketch. Then i did the most fast inking I've ever done in my entire life. Then I colored it really hard w/ plain old colored pencils, realized it looked like crap. Scanned it. then messed the hell out of it in Photoshop, then added a million layers and effects and filters and other shit, and then I looked at it and it was okay. I really want to know what you think. Please don't yell at me about the inking and crown though, I realize those are just nasty. :D

Tenel Ka is a jedi girl from "Young Jedi Knights" book series. I really shouldn't be drawing her because I have no clue of her character yet, I just picked up "Lightsabers" from the library today and saw her on the cover and thought she was pretty. :love:

[Edit] I changed the eye color to the grey they should be. and I tinkered w/ a few things, shouldn't be too noticable. [/edit]

I'm not sure if I should say this or not.. but you told me not to hesitate to give that kind of criticism. Anyway, her hand is too large and it looks as if it's pulling her face off.
Uh.. other than that, as always the lining and coloring looks great to my eyes. Keep up the good work.

Thanks. :) lol. Yeah, it does... I'm wondering if it's because I didn't shade it enough, or if the porportions in the reference photo were skewed by a camera.
Do you think the hand distracts too much? I'll work on it more. tomorrow.
